Forgive me if it seems I am lost understanding your post as I do not have the setup you have. A couple questions please?
1. Is your CAI installed with filters outside the radiator wall?
2. Is the airboxes that you have for your CAI sealed to air below them from the engine (I ask because I have no idea what the 'assembled' air box system your mounting to the XF looks like)?
Commonly speaking, the restrictive total used in the intake air flow must not exceed the total of the designed airbox for an untuned engine, within reason, this is why I am asking the two Q's. I ask because I am curious as I do not nor have ever owned an SRT-6 (yet, if ever).
Obviously that added 'item' should not be there, and there should not be more than two filters in the intake air flow system (one each side).
Thanks for responding!
.
The filters are in the housings, not out in front of the radiator.
The left filter has a tube about 3/4" in diameter that connects to the top of the valve cover. PCV I'm assuming. No PCV valve. No other air can enter the filter housings except for the ~5" tubes that extend from each filter housing into the area beside the radiator on each side.
I'm waiting on a reply from the filter manufacturer for a cross reference as to the application of the charcoal filter that everyone keeps calling a cabin air filter.
I hope this answers your questions. Thank you for input.
In the photo below, you can see that I have pulled the right side air intake tube off of the filter housing. Normally it is connected.
This morning, I used the Chemical Guys Headlight Restoration kit on the headlights and foglights. Worked really easily and quickly. And I forgot to take a Before picture. A few hours later the film from InvisibleMask for these lights arrived. Watched the instruction video, read the instructions, and had at it.
Looks great. Now, the new LEDs can blast the darkness away without impediment.
They look great! The clarity and the LEDs make quite a difference.

Thank you for explaining the setup in that airbox. Looking up the filters for that airbox should be all you need. Since it (that so called CAF filter in that bracket) is above the hose leading to the airbox and is the filter for the PCV? Good luck, and thanks again for the reply.
I purchased a set from Harbor Freight that fits all the cars I have and is in a nice tool roll there are two of each so it makes it easier to mount the wheel. https://www.harborfreight.com/wheel-...gg_q=wheel+pin

Thank you for your reply.
My guess was that it is the PCV filter to slow fouling the regular paper filter. I will reinstall it.
EDIT: THE PAPER FILTER IS "IN FRONT" OF THE CHARCOAL. THE CHARCOAL FILTER DOESN'T STOP THE CRANKCASE VENT FUMES FROM HITTING THE PAPER FILTER. I DID NOT REINSTALL IT.
I sent a message to the manufacturer, "Mann", here is their reply:[After further discussion and research it was determined that AE 2501 is made for a private original equipment manufacturer.
It is not sold in the aftermarket and no other information is available on the product.

Today I edited my thread so that there are now links for all of the "How To" posts that I have done on my car. The links are located below the pictures on the first post.
Now members who are looking for a "how to" replace brake rotors, change the differential oil, remove the window trim, etc... Can now click a link on the first page & go right to the post.
It took a couple of hours, but it's worth it. Here's the link to my thread: My Journet with my 2006 Roadster "Svengoolie"

Is that a fob case only or a new complete key? Mine still works well, but the buttons are getting worn. I'd like to find a price friendly case to swap my electronics and blade onto!

the empty cases seem to be available in a bunch of places. Cheap. Be sure to swap the chip over too. I saw one post somewhere, where they suggested disassembly in a large clear plastic bag so the when the spring goes sproing you don't lose the parts. Amazon has them $8 each. https://a.co/d/dk0Lc4R
Thanks to a screw in the road (luckily at the entrance to my subdivision on my way home) I got a new set of tires from Tire Rack. Of course the Road Hazzard was 1 week out, so bad timing. I decided to bump up to 275/35R19s. From everything I read in here, it seems like a decent fit for stock rims without much variance in speedo accuracy or performance. So far, I really like them. I can notice a slight difference when pushing hard around steady-state corners but I think they fill out the wheel wells nice and have actually softened some of the impact I normally feel on a couple of local bridges in the area. I guess the added sidewall give a bit more cushion(?). I used GPS on my phone to verify the speedo has changed very minor (1mph @ 70). Overall, I would recommend that size for stock SRT6 wheels. Any wider and they may stick out a bit close to the wheel lip. Going with the 35 vs 30 series saved me $100 in price. I prefer to think of the savings rather than the cost!!

I just put new stock size tires on my SRT-6. We'll see how they work out. I went with the Vredestein Hypertrac All Season from TireRack, in part because they are not directional. They feel so much better than the slicks my old BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S+ had become. Here on the edges of Houston, hwy 290 is grooved and simply a nightmare to drive on in the rain with slick tires. Of course any road in the rain is incompatible with slick tires. I'm hoping the new tires last long enough for me to install new front upper and lower control arms. 😅 I'm still waiting on my eccentric bolt kits. 😩 They were supposed to be here today but got delayed. I got a Mercedes spring compression tool yesterday.

Get them on Ebay. I like this one as it looks a little bit more modern with the "bling" and the highlighted drawing on Open/Close. What I also like is that you screw the shells together rather than having to glue them like all the other key fobs.
As for the Chrysler logo on the back, go to beststickers.net, find the Chrysler Logo (or even SRT logo old font/new font) and have them send you the key fob size. If you get the Chrysler logo, make sure to tell them to print it on golden paper so it looks like the original. Here is mine:
I reluctantly listed my 2005 SRT-6 Roadster on Gateway Classis cars.
At 84, I do not have the energy to sell it myself.
This car has 56,300 2nd owner miles and has just about everything "wear-outable" replaced.
Gateway has it listed for a negotiable $27,000, about as much as I have in it.
See attached for further info on this well taken care of, always garaged, Texas car that needs nothing! https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/v...sler-crossfire

My neighbor made this shirt for me. She is not interested in selling them. She does this as a hobby and makes stuff for her family.
I think it looks pretty cool.

Yes, I ordered “Infinity 6.5" Speaker Foam Surround Repair Kit - 2A65” from Springfield Speaker. It cost $23.35, which includes two foam surrounds, glue, and shipping. Using “WELCOME10” for the discount code at checkout gets you an additional 10% off for first time customers. They also have a video on their site showing how to glue it. Here’s a link to their kit: https://www.springfieldspeakerrepair...8ebbe0ed&_ss=r
