Installed new front 19" wheels and tires. Got spacers and longer lug bolts in the mail yesterday so rears will be swapped on when I get some time off on Saturday! Also, still need to replace a bad coil pack so ordering today and will change out soon. Maybe she will pick up a little power and some MPGs? At least maybe it will keep my right exhaust pipe clean like the left. True duals will show you little issues, lol.

Interesting...how does one track down a bad coil pack?

Black exhaust soot. Checked plugs on the "sooty" side and found both plugs on the same coil pack to be corroded looking. I changed coil pack with another and drove for a few 1000 miles and plugs at the new location, suspect coil pack, starting to look corroded now as well. Plugs at old coil pack location still look fine. Hmmmmm, lol. Looks like a new pack it is. At least it wasnt valves or something else harder to take care of.

If you are basing that solely on exhaust soot, don't be worried, most of these cars get black tips pretty easily and have since they were brand new...

Just my humble opinion.

You could be right! Car doesn't run badly, but I do feel a slight vibration in the wheel at idle... may not be anything.

That's true...stock exhaust is NOT dual in the truest sense of the word.

Now, just have to get the brake dust to stay off of my new wheels, lol. Maybe new ceramic pads on the front may be the answer? Also, planning a $5 bumper lip mod except more like $35 now but still a sweet deal. Mrmiata's looks awesome!

I received payment today, so the Crossfire is now sold to a fellow forum member.

Here's a quick video I made this afternoon to document it's condition prior to shipping.

I removed all 4 wheels and did a pre season inspection ......... the list is long. Leaking front shock, caliper dust seals gone, rotors heat cracked, brake pads nearly done and front tires toast. Monday the car goes in for new A-arm bushings and alignment. Hoosiers, new shock, new Carbotech's, Stoptech caliper repair kits, new rear bump stops all to be ordered monday. The new rotor rings are already here. Consumables of racing. Suspension attachment points are good, no cracking. I found the camber arms to be loose. Fixed that. Washed and inspected the the underneath of the car. Darned brand new passenger wheel well door fell off and is missing. I thought I had all the time in the world but feel urgency after finding the caliper and shock defects. I want to make myself a splitter too.

Completed one wheel well cleaning. Painted caliper. Not sure if I want to paint the well black. The car color(red) is showing thru.

Have the tire re-balanced tomorrow.

Changed out my spark plugs to cooler iridium plugs, and installed Magnacor wires. Not that hard of a job, only ripped up one knuckle(dam heatshield). I think the hardest part was getting the torque wrench into the space for each plug...

I took mine out for the first time in a few weeks. I played with my new GoPro camera. It should work nicely when the weather gets warmer and I drive in more interesting places.

No I don't I have everything ran and stubbed. Got the flu just before Xmas and a small blizzard. Cars have sat until we remote tuned them a few days ago. Supposed to warm up this week. The power wire I will disconnect and solder into the fitting. Same for the ground. The smaller wires looks like I will have to splice and solder.

Exciting day.
I started the car, backed it out of the garage, let it warm up and then put it back in the garage.

How can I take all this excitement?
