Off the car. I got a spare set from a local wreck. I should have spent more time on prep...every little rock chip showed up. I don't think I'd attempt it with them still on the car especially since it's pretty easy to get them off. I think we'll call this first attempt "practice".

I had a couple E55 superchargers setting around, so I decided to steal one of the badges for my SRT.

Damn, why are my photos so damn big!

We really need a forum tool that automatically fits pics into the "Goldilocks" zone for threads....not too big, not too small. When I used the built-in tool to link to pics in my user gallery they're way too small.

Removed seats and door panels to be re-upholstered. Dynamat on the doors while panels are off Might dynamat the floor and rear carpet area (bulkhead) while everything is out.

Keyless entry alert tone

Did this today - took about 15.min. I used Radio Shack 275-0060 - tone isn't bad but it could be louder even when mounted outside the fuse box - sound level on this on is 86db.

Has anyone tried a different one from Radio Shack that is louder?

Just a note that I had to reset the disabling of the seat belt chime after doing this mod!

I wish you'd done that 6 months ago when I was in the market for one. I just did a search on cars.com, and I couldn't locate it.

No throttle response is probably because of the sprint booster.
Might not be plugged in correctly.
As I recall it can be plugged in 2 ways but only one way will work.

I'm still waiting for my S/C to I/C gasket so I cleaned the valley under the I/C, decided to reseal the drivers side upper valve cover etc. Now, where to find the baked potato material.

Within the last week, I tore the entire front end off the car and did some refinishing. I removed the 7 layers of tinted clear we sprayed them with 3 years ago (starting to look tired, and a few rock chips). We resprayed them a little lighter, they turned out well. I detailed everything while I had it apart.

I got it all buttoned up for a 600+ entry car show this weekend and ended up taking first place in 'Midsize Mopar All'. Previously, I have also taken a first and second place at the show. There were some pretty serious cars out there, and a ended up beating a custom 300 with air ride, custom wheels, stereo, etc. so I was happy

Good job John, keep up the good work.

PitMarshall and I entered a car show, visitors voted in several categories, we won nothing as expected. But we were lucky in the door prizes, PitMarshall won a $100 gas card and I won a Magellan GPS 3030. Not super prizes but we made out like bandits compared to many.

v2addict entered his custom bobber but failed to get a prize although it was the best custom bike there as far as I was concerned. He did not win a door prize either.
Some trashy chromed up HD won, all glitz, no glam - no taste.
