Default Thank You thread

I just thought this would be a nice place to give kudos to those deserving of them.

First post:

Rusty, thanks for the delivery of the Glenfiddich 15. Very much appreciated!

And to Taz and Rudy, the delivery of the Chivas from Doc last fall did the trick too. Great having you here. Hangover notwithstanding.

Jerry/Clint/Eurocharged, you made a whole lotta' folks happy this month. Thanks!

I'll add more as memory returns!

Mods-it might be a good sticky here...

Great thread idea, Max...

My first local thank-you goes out to Steve (32krazy) for being the most hospitable, friendliest car enthusiast I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Help with the Crossfire is only a phone call away, and the garage fees are the best in town. Steve has become an invaluable friend to me and Kim, and our friendship will outlast any of our cars.

Same can be said for Nick (Thirteendog), you'll never meet a nicer guy and when you pair Nick and Steve together, the laughs get outta control. Same goes for the hospitality and wrenching assistance.

Franc Rauscher -- Thank you for being a guy whose friendship far exceeds mere enthusiast level... Franc has been a priceless friend to me and Kim from the day we met. My political partner in crime, we've backed each other numerous times on countless threads because our views are simply so parallel it's scary. And he has great taste in a single malt too, haha...

Jerry and the Eurocharged team -- Thanks for all you do to make us faster!

Gary (Valk) -- thank you for all that you do to keep this place warm and hospitable to all. Your efforts in the meets are much appreciated.

Rudy -- simply THE source for knowledge, anytime. You've helped me a lot over the years and it's an honor to call you a friend.

I'm omitting folks, which is the danger in listing individuals. But, needless to say, the cup runs over when we start counting the helpful souls on this forum. It's what makes this car so enjoyable... the family comes along free.

Thanks Max for creating such a cool thread for all of us to use to reach out and say thanks to those who have helped one another.

This is now a "sticky" thread and will remain as one.

Great Thread!!! I mentioned to Gary the other day that I had several members I wished to thank for the help that I have received with the parts on my X-Fire, and now the perfect place to do it.

HCarter, Thank You for the Good deal on the SRT Springs. I'm sure you could have sold them for more.

Jimmyskullz, Thank You for a fair price on the SRT Brakes. There finally on my car. I know you took a beating on the shipping.

Freakingfast, Marc, a great product at a fair price, and you have been very helpfull on the phone as well. Thanks.

Needswings Great shocks and other items ,,very helpful over the phone as well.

Bigkid, Jim The best price one could have ever offered a set of foglights for as well.

Max you doooggg you. Thanks for the thread

There are so many more of you to thank and hopefully as this insomniac wakes up fully I'll come back and add. For now:

Gateway Crossfire Group - for the camaraderie and friendships developed and yet to be. I look forward to every get-together and miss those who are no longer with the group

Gary - for leading me and Ruth into the first Dragon and continuing to organize a great meeting and the friendship that developed

Dan - for a friendship that will last despite the miles between us...yes, I do hope to get Ruth down that way before we begin to forget

Jane - anyone who has ever met you should be thankful they did

Nick - for putting a grin on my face every time I get a card from you while you're visiting FLA and an opportunity to curse you for reminding me why I don't like winter

Curtis - for being you, sure do wish you guys were back this way.

Dragon attendees - fantastic meet every time and we look forward to this fall

1st CAA attendees - thanks to all of you who attended, without all of you, it wouldn't have been what it was - special thanks to Karl for the idea and to Franc for the track day. I got to drive the way I would like on the streets.

Itsky - for taking on the 2nd CAA and giving us a chance to see the wonderful people who attended last year again and meeting even more people

(beaner and blue coupe for volunteering for the 3rd CAA. no Steve, I've not forgotten your willingness and desire...beaner you're just guilty by association)

Speaking of a well-deserved thank you, we should all be grateful to MMZ_Timelord (whoever you are) for assembling the Crossfire Documentation Collection. This compilation must represent an incredible effort on his part alone, and surely helped us all save incalculable time, frustration and MONEY understanding our cars.

Thank you, Timelord, for a job well done.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of our men and women of our Armed Forces, past and present! Without you I could be stopping at checkpoints instead of driving free.

With all the new parts, there are many thank yous to go around. I have gotten some VERY cool one off pieces from several members here who have gone above and beyond.

Max - you the man, thanks for all the help, from the first time we met and I broke your hemostats putting in eye lid bulbs to designing the CAI with you at the Dragon and many a conversation after that.

Doc - you are like a cool older brother, just MUCH MUCH older LOL We'll get those roll bars in one of these days, damnit

Gary - everything you do for all of us here, it is a lot of beind the scenes work that no one realizes, not the mention the GTGs.

SquirrelCrusher - your parts are second to none, especially when they are one offs. Thank you for everything, got the box today, and money will be coming soon

MikeR - Thank you, my suspension master. W/o your compressors, arms, and help, none of this would be possible.

Franc - Molly and I have enjoyed out dinners and time together very much, you and Kath are fantastic people.

Steve, John, Nick - you guys rock, every single one of you was willing to help with the black car, when it met its untimely demise, and I appreciate that more than you know. And Steve - very glad Molly and I got to help out the the green one. I can not wait to see what you have done with it....

I know I am forgetting multiple people, please forgive me, but this place is just the best group of people around, and I truly believe, you get out what you put in, and that is why I always try to help other member when I can....

My thanks to everyone here, whether we made friends or not, just for their contributions to the group.

I must return Kudos to JHM2K for bringing Kim so briefly into my world. And his lasting friendship.

Boilerup and Molly for theirs and OleDoc2U for making Cathy and I so comfortable in freindship early on.

And Kurts who, for no reason I can think of, gives me pause to smile, think, and occasionaly raise a glass of Yukon Jack.

Great idea for a thread.
I'd like to thank Rmaderman, bluefire2005 and SRT6 Gang Member for buying interior parts off of me, hope they were what you were looking for.
BoilerupXfire for the advice in modding my car and the inspiration to do so.
And for all the regulars on the politics forum, mdaniels, kane, franc, rad, etc. I may not always agree and there may be a lot of BS but every once in a while there are great, though-provoking posts and it all makes my work day go faster.
Thanks everyone!
