Default HID Question

Hi All,

I have a headlight out and i figure i might as well upgrade to HID's, but dont want to spend alot of moneyon lights. I came across this "plug and play" kit and was wondering if anyone has used/heard of this and if this is a good deal.

Low Beam: H7 Xenon Hid Conversion Kit with Slim Ballast For Chrysler Crossfire 2005

Thanks!

I have found that with the super cheap sets the bulbs may be indexed wrong. which causes shadows (uneven spread of the light beam). I usually get my hid sets from the glowdoctor.

Hello all I am new here so I have not figured out how to make my own Post...

Low Beam problems, MY Low beams are at the MAX limit up and are shooting down towards the ground. Eg. at 5feet they drop from 23 inches to 17 inches. Almost completely useless at night. Has anyone heard of this problem and is there a fix? Just FYI I am running standard wheels and Tires 18 in front/19s in back, all my tire pressures are normal and my shocks/struts are in good condition.

My guess is the bulbs are not installed properly so they are not seated into the right position in the socket guides.

Those outside adjustments by the fender are a pain to get to and adjust. Are they staying at the same spot or can you adjust them up and down any? The plastic gear could be stripped

Once the bulbs have been set right at the factory there is no need to touch these, as the bulbs self align if installed properly.
