Default Loose Headliner

so my headliner in the back is coming loose.

I did a search and all I could find were posts on replacing the entire headliner.
Any recommendation on just reattaching the part that's loose? if so, what would I use?

Thanks in advance,
TomSRT

The rest of it will soon follow.

Most auto parts store sell headliner glue in a spray can but, as Bill F already said "the rest will soon follow" it's a losing battle. You would think that the problem of the falling headliner would have been solved years ago.

I used a locktite brand adhesive when mine started around the windshield.. It's a little 3" long tube with a somewhat thick clear adhesive. Has held it in place very well. Then the rest started down from the middle, I now have a button tufted look via sewing pins.. actually think I'm going that way when I get around to replacing it..

Mine did the same thing near the front where it meets the windshield. I am currently using grey thumb tacks strategically placed along the front of the ceiling and no issues and cost nothing and no one but me knows.

Fixed mine myself at the A pillars. Thought it would be fine but as others said, the rest will follow soon. Just had my entire headliner replaced. $175 with exact same coler. Well worth it. Just do it.
