Now that's funny! The caps themselves are worth $5. I guess the plastic baggies and official Mopar paper work are worth $60.

My'04 NA had caps that were different, they had the Chrysler logo on them, colored, they must have been worth $100.
And none of them showing the numbers or writing on the caps, which might make them unique from the thousands of look-a-likes available.
These caps do display a Star logo, but the star logo is the Schrader logo.
They are stamped Schrader not Chrysler. You can buy these caps for a buck a piece I'm sure.

The problem is the metal caps get oxidized onto the valve stems. Couldn't remove one of mine and broke the stem doing it. Had to have it replaced at the dealer. Better off using plastic.
I switched to plastic caps too because one oxidized on the stem for me as well. I ended having to replace the stem altogether with the sensor because it chipped due to the the oxidized metal state when the cap finally came off. The plastic caps I got for $2 are the same silver as the stems, and fit right in no problem.

This kit is recommended when you get a new tire fitted, it replaces the stem and seal part only.
Sorry 180. I forgot to mention that we tried to remove just the stem but it cracked the base of the sensor too in the process. The guy at the service center actually knew about the crossfire too, and even he was surprised he couldn't remove the stem due to the corroded metal. It's ok with me though, I have a new sensor in now at least, so when the other 3 go due to their batteries, itll be cheaper overall hahahah :P
