Default Android app Torque

Hello everyone!

What can I do with the app "Torque" available on Android and Iphones and how much is it? If I recall correctly there is a free version as well as a pay version. What would the difference be here and most importantly where do I buy the needed connector for the best deal?
I saw it before in a friend's car but never asked him where he got it. It was a bluetooth connector and quite interesting especially cause it gave him a mpg display!

Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions.

Nick

I got the pro version and the connector off eBay for $15.
I like it, but wish there was a oil pressure.
If anything it works great to check engine codes, cheaply.
There are cheaper obd adapters but I went with one that was from the torque list of adapters known compatable.
