Default Hood emblem retainers

Finally got an emblem to replace the one that "blew off" when the car belonged to the previous owner....I know it was held on with two faced tape but what kind of retainers go on the pegs? I am guessing the ones that just slide on tight and are a pain to remove??? Any idea what diameter?
Thanks
BA

They are just push on, not sure about the diameter but I used speed nuts from NAPA. I just took the emblem in and found the speed nuts that fit, Voila!
