What all would I need to change while doing a srt swap on my base model?

 

Well I think we may need to know what it is your swapping !!

 

I'm swapping a base model with an srt6 motor. I found one for a good deal. So I needa know if it's possible and what else I'll need.

 

The best, simplest and cheapest way is to swap ownership papers with an SRT owner, that's if you can find one. The way you are going you might as well put a Mercedes V8 in it and really do a job that people would envy.

 

you will need
tranny from srt
tcu or 307 rear
ecu
wiring harness, from dash forward from the srt
sc pump----two pumps.
sc pump wiring
all hoses from sc pump system.
heat exchanger which requires rad from srt
and a lot more that i don't remember

or you could call Rudy he has everything to replace the srt motor or replace wirh a v8
search rcompart send him a pm, most people that has done any swap it has taken a long long time where Rudy can get it done in less than 60 days,maybe not now that he and his wife are expecting a baby soon jim

Don't forget the instrument cluster ignition and keys that is from the same srt the ecu came out of.

 

It will be far cheaper to find and buy an SRT6 coupe than to try and perform a transplant. More reliable, too.

 

For a moment I thought about an srt-6 swap and then came to my senses.

No. Use the base as a parts car.

 

Oh yeah & lots & lots of money too !!!! : )

 

PLUS new brake assemblies, no point in going faster if you can't STOP. LOL
