Mesh Style Windscreen Still Available?
Re: Mesh Style Windscreen Still Available?
Greg - Very nice. Looks identical to the Adamesh. Wonder if Chrom Design bought the dies when Adamesh stopped production?
Given the "ins and outs" of Crossfire specialty parts, I would advise any owners even remotely considering a mesh windscreen to jump on this deal. Examples being the rarity of Crossfire luggage (until the recent "find" a couple years ago), coupe trunk covers and OEM car covers. Max offering a 10% discount for forum members is icing on the cake.

Hi there, even though it's not the same, here's two mesh windscreens for the Crossfire:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrysler-Crossfire-Mesh-Windscreen-Windscreen-Windblocker-Windstop-Windstopper-/111480553258?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACrossfire&hash=item19f4c23f2a&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrysler-Crossfire-CUSTOM-WINDSTOPPERS-WINDSCREEN-Wind-Deflector-2005-2008-/181438044014?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a3e8cd76e&vxp=mtr
I wonder how they work? They look small, but how knows, maybe they're effective? I see that they're not rated on http://www.windscreenreview.net, which is kinda of a bummer.

I have yet to test mine ...in the snow!
But, my understanding is that the majority find the mesh to be better at wind turbulence reduction (most high end OEM screens are mesh), while the Lexan is more fashionable/ customizable but less effective for wind.
The Lexan can be customized with names/ pictures etc and then edge lit for a cool effect.

Re: Mesh Style Windscreen Still Available?
I've had mine for 6+ years and love it. There was a period of time several years ago where these were in short supply as the manufacturer had stopped production in order to fulfill a large order from Lexus (that speaks for itself!). The mesh allows just enough air current to pass through so that it's not redirected back into the cabin creating turbulence (unlike solid plexiglass). The mesh also does not create distracting reflections in the rearview mirror (unlike solid plexiglass). And, best of all it looks like it was OEM with the Xfire!

Temperature hit 49F a couple days ago, so I put the top down to try this out. I like it. Just a little tussle at the top of my head, and a little at the back of the neck that could be felt without the jacket collar.
Airflow overall is pretty stable with this screen.

I think mine was shipped by Deutsche Post DHL I don't remember having to choose a shipping method. I also don't remember being able to choose an English website but since I placed my order, that has been an option. Evidently they are growing their business to meet worldwide demand for their products.
Re: Mesh Style Windscreen Still Available?
I'm enjoying folowing the links on you all ordering these mesh screens. I ordered from Max in January and it seems the tracking link went thru about 4 places in Germany and then stops on January 17th. I don't know what to think about this Here's my DHL link number 350010148760.
I hope tomorrow I see some movement on the tracing link. It's getting to be nice weather in south Georgia now. Yeow

I didn't actually see the truck, but it had several DHL stickers all over it, my invoice shows ship by "DHL USA", and they used to have a major hub not far from here, so I assumed it was delivered by them.
Enclosed is the full trace info from DHL website.
However, when I went to USPS.com and entered the DHL listed "domestic" tracking number it shows they did do the final delivery.
I forgot that DHL pulled all operations for domestic delivery out of the US in 2008.
