Windshield Top Trim on ebay
Just saw this ebay listing and thought it was worth sharing. It's a windshield top trim for $75 including shipping. The paint looks good without chips, but many minor scratches. It appears that three of the five clips were glued back on. The rubber is peeled off the ends, but that should be easy to put back on with some trim adhesive.
If you look at the underside picture it seems to me that the clip second from right to left is glued very slightly out of position which could cause a mounting problem. I could be wrong about that. If not, it could be removed and glued back on correct positioned.

The top windshield surround is for a Roadster, since it does not have the rubber trim on the reverse side and the part number ends with 187. This part rests on the rubber that exists on the top of the windshield, so there is no need for the rubber strip.
The Coupe top trim has the rubber strip and that part number ends with 087. The rubber rests on the metal trim of the roof. A little glue will resolve the rubber issues.
A rubber strip can be added to the Roadster molding, if used on the coupe.
Just a little of trivia knowledge.....

Here is another ebay windshield trim listing. It's the set for $500 or best offer. Many clips have come off the pieces and the paint is chipped and peeling in spots. Sellers and others have mentioned gluing these clips back on. I purchased a spare trim piece with one loose clip. I found it was held on by double sided sticky tape. I didn't know if that was from the factory, but looking at this listing I can see the tape where the pieces came off.
