Default How do I get to the a/c blower?

Hey folks!

I am trying to clean out my blower as it rumbles sometimes and so I figured there are probably leafs stuck in there as my car is parked directly under a tree.
Thanks for any info on what awaits me down there. Is it easier to just take the whole thing out or clean while it's installed?

Thanks for your help.
Also trying to clear out the drains next to the windshield under the hood. I assume best way of doing that is to take the 6 screws off and I should be able to get to it? I have like 100 leafs in both sides and that can't be good

Nick

You can remove the blower from under the dash on the passenger side, same procedure as replacing the cabin air filter, just a few more Torx screws.
HINT: It helps to have an Albanian dwarf that can get in there and do this for you.
As to the drains, yes, remove the wiper arms, cut the 2 wire ties, slip down the 2 O2 sensor wire clamps, remove the Torx screws.
Lift it up slightly on the passenger side and unplug the nozzle heater plug, you can then rotate the cover out of the way.
