Default car wont start

so a couple weeks ago i took my headliner out to be redone and a few days after it was taken out my lights started flashing as if the alarm was going off. i hit the unlock button and they stopped flashing and then the next day i went to start the car and it wouldnt start. just gives a very fast click click click over and over and now none of the lights will turn on and the doors wont even lock. i have a feeling the car thinks that it is being stolen and thats why it wont let anything work but i dont know how to get it to stop thinking that. i read some threads saying cps or skreem but im not sure if they had the exact same issue as me so im hoping someone can help thanks in advance guys

It sounds like a battery problem. Have you tried to jump start it?

I have put it on a trickle charger and after about 2 minutes it says it's fully charged so I don't think it's dead. But I haven't tried jumping it

How old is the battery and how long was it that it sat idle?

Not sure on the age of the battery it is the one that came with the car when I bought it a year ago and it was only sitting a few days. Definitely less than a week. I just think it believes it has been stolen because I had to unclip the garage door opener and overhead light to take the headliner out and left them unplugged for a while. It could be the battery I suppose it looks like a bargain brand battery

As for the cause, I don't know, but mine did a similar thing, and I disconnected the battery for a bit, reconnected it and has been fine for months.

It's the RCM, not the SKREEM that needs resolder.

RCM symptoms : turn key on, go to start and nothing.
SKREEM symptoms : car starts and immediately stops, this happens 3 times then nothing until you disconnect the negative battery terminal and reconnect, then it will do same thing again.

It has to come pre-programmed to your VIN, contact Rob at Needswings.com.
He gathers info from you, gets a programmed SKREEM and sends it to you.
