Default Weight of hood?

Obviously I'm referring to an original one. I just spent several hours masking off everything around the hood so that I could repaint the top. I vaguely recall a figure of 185 pounds.

I'm pretty much a one-man-band (and not remotely super strong), but it crossed my mind there is plenty of help only a short drive away and for a reasonable fee.

Obviously I'm talking about removing the hood and placing it on saw-horses.

I do this all the time by myself when removing/replacing hoods on the vintage Alfa's I restore. But they're well within my meager muscle tolerance.

id guess 60 pounds is much closer than 185 pounds, you will still want an extra set of hands though

I believe the weight of the hood is in the thread that was started for the group buy on MadMeds original FG hood. You just have to search it.
The weight is there or in a similar thread.
