Front wheel bearing cap
Anybody know where I can buy these? Placed several orders only to have order canceled. Had to destroy mine to get them off.
Chrysler part number is 05101732AA
Mercedes cross part number ? I found a cross part number list but don't find the front bearing cap.

Thanks Will give that a try. That is the number the guy found at Autozone just was skeptical it was the correct one. I had already ordered two and they were to small.

Why? Obviously you can't undo the damage but they are removable, Karmann didn't make these unremovable.

I ordered this part from a Mercedes Dealer based on a 2003 SLK 320 and it was in fact too small. It's slightly smaller than the one that was on it and it was impossible to put it on straight after trying for hours. I'm having a heck of a time finding the crossfire one (Part # 05101732AA) . Chrysler Dealer says they're discontinued and they are very scarce. After weeks of searching, the only place I found two (to avoid repeating this) is Canada and I might have to get them (if they in fact still have them) since the ebay guy that sells them gives very poor customer service.
You get the cap plus a wheel bearing :

They both use the same hub so I cannot see a problem.

Also if you buy a complete brand new front hub assembly it does not come with a cap either.
If people are parting out wrecked crossfire's they should remove the front wheel bearing caps, they are valuable as they cannot be replaced. I just did a search on ebay and saw 0 for sale.
That cap will be to small, it does not fit the crossfire. I replaced my front wheel bearing a few months ago and bought this kit. I almost threw away my old wheel bearing caps thinking these would be a direct fit they are not. Lucky for me I didnt destroy my original caps taking them off. I had to re use them.
