Default V8, keep up with my mods

modding my V8 crossfire, and making test at the track after each mod,,, so far it is V8 engine and Rudy's built transmission . As most know i ran 11.78 in stock form ,,V8 with stock intake with K&N filters,,
pic here for now

1. next will be 2.5 down pipes from engine, no cats to 3" exhaust will have a 3" flow through thrush muffler in the middle( to reduce the noise),, to my SRT 6 muffler.
2. and maybe Needswings super-cooler before next run.

Hay Les, just fixing the car ,,lowering and moving forward the lower radiator support, for extra cooling ,,,and making the upper support ,,so i can change pulleys and radiator faster , you know with the v8 the engine is more forward so need to fix that, re balance the car, add brakes ect.. when i get through the car will be a 10 second daily driver LOL How is your car doing,,, i know you had it rough after the storm. lets go to the track!!! jim

Is that a washer and dryer you have attached to the muffler? Just saying.
Thanks, Ken

Finally, somebody with some sense. I have been saying the only way to a proper exhaust is delete back cats then into y to 3 in pipe straight into stock muffler. phenomenal sound and slight power increase.. i'll post pics of my exhaust , if I can find them. I used a 12 I long resonator inline.

One other mod I've done is to use a eurocharged HE, which is much wider, then opened up the lower grills by drilling and grinding out a couple more squares on each side, which lowered my temps a few degrees, definitely worth the work.

my exhaust is 2.5 off engine to the Y then 3" to a 3"resonator/open muffler inline then 3" into the srt6 muffler (((opened the muffler to 3" inlet and two 2- 2 1/2 outlets))
lowered the radiator support 3" and moved froward 3" modded fan from a mercedes car, set up on stock temp setings, the fan has never gone full speed, we did cut down the fan to fit into the crossfire. Needswings supercooler and small water tank in place of air pump, located high as the engine, fuel pump from mercedes with a adjustable regulator set at 65 psi, with vac hose to maintain 65 psi through out boost range.
I have a sound bite of the exhaust as soon as i can get it to post, tried earlier with no luck.

Went to Orlando speedway last night could not get traction. best run was
12.00 @ 115 and 12.20 @ 117 lots of spinning 13.2 @ 115 the exhaust increase the low end torque so the car is faster but need radials,
