Yes, report them to the local Better Business bureau. Cheats and liars.
A stretched chain allows the teeth to slip and finally a piston goes up as a valve comes down. BANG!

I honestly was thinking the same thing! I really appreciate your guys inputs on this. Not only that there’s no sporadic idling and there’s scraping noises other than a heat shield rattling but that has rattled for the past 4 years.. plus when it does fire up it idles just fine. I did however replace the camshaft position sensor that was a little more expensive then the original I bought and that helped a lot. It cranks at times but not as much. It was like 60 bucks I might buy the camshaft position sensor that is $150 and see if that does the trick.

I have bought Bosch on everything else except the camshaft position sensor. The originally camshaft position sensor I bought was around $40 because it was $20 more than the other ones. Then I bought this 60 dollar camshaft sensor and it definitely help so this is probably the issue. I will order the Bosch sensor now. I’ll let you guys know if that does the trick!

Please either replace the RCM or send it to TJ Tighe to have it completely rebuilt for $50.00. It is most likely not the solder joints but bad relays. Do the least expensive and easiest first.
