Default super charger in N/A car

What are all the parts and pieces needed to super charge a N/A car to make it look like a factory SRT in the engine bay?

The cheapest way is to buy an SRT in the first place, too late for you though.☹️

Know you have not been here very long NA do not take force air very will OK OK OK you all, not at all , one was built few years back it took almost 6 years to do it ( CORKY BELL) , and it did run and know few will chime in about it , one thing you will notice here the NA been with us since 2004 and there none that have SC or turbo's ,and there reason for that , and no the NA is not the same motor as SRT6 with a SC , use the research button and you will find many discussions on this ,Most of them died many years ago ,

Everyone is telling you it is much cheaper and less headache to sell your NA and buy and SRT. If you want a sleeper just change the trunk lid, spoiler and de-badge the SRT. The SRT has a beefier transmission, better suspension and other electronics. There is no upside to converting an NA to the supercharged engine.

I don't want a sleeper. The up side is I already have the N/A car and it's a manual. Suspension is interchangeable and upgradable in the aftermarket.

Well good luck, they didn't build any manual SRTs because the clutch and trans and drive train would not hold up. I hope it is worth your time and money.

This may help ya , There is few that have put SRT6 motors in a NA , I know of one I think in Texas , but Every thing must come with that to make that work wiring etc. , you would need to find a Donor SRT and convert everthing over There is few out there with the V8 's I think the E65 motors in them that fit , but the cost is about 25,000 to do ! yes it is that much , unless your like a few here that that love having something different and have the time and money , then this may be your options , The search button can be your friend in finding out about the builds that some have done , , for me I spent the money on a different sport car few years ago ,one where the after market is little more friendly to the HP I was looking for and yes I still have my Crossfire ,

There’s a twincharged XF and a Turbo XF on here. The headache for the Turbo was well documented for about 5 years. It was for sale I believe not too long ago. Check over on the Benz forums there are a couple C32 AMG’s with a manual but it’s with the same M112k engine. Search the forum and you will find many threads about a lot of builds. Good luck in your search 🤙🏼.

If it was easy to do , we all would be Driving around with SC or turbo on our NA's , and one or two that have them are running really low PSI , which means you spent a lot for nothing ! Wish Rudy was still hanging around, he the MB and Crossfire guru and guy that done most of V8 transplants

Go ahead, but before you spend all that money make sure you know of EVERYTHING you need to know to put an SRT-6 supercharged (modified N/A motor) into this N/A engine bay (with the manual transmission, might also have to shoehorn a different beefier transmission and parts rearward). Come back and let us all know how it turns out (or not), OK?

What you need, to make it look like an SRT under the hood

IS an SRT

IT WOULD BE WAY MORE COST EFFECTIVE to sell what you have, possibly add a few bucks and buy an SRT

or you can buy 2 cars (Current and donor) just to get one complete vehicle (and a total education on all things Crossfire

If you’re handy and can do the swap you’ll save big $$$

If you really want the get up and go associated with the SRT
BUY ONE

Trust me
it’s cheaper and a 100x easier

(I’m speaking from experience)

.
or you can do what GG is suggesting. Add the supercharger and let us know the results

Either way, you’ll be digging deep into your wallet

a supercharger alone is 800-900 on ebay plus the pulley for most (add another 400)

and then you need everything else

If I knew then what I know now

i would have purchased and be driving a V8

it would have been a lot cheaper

how does the saying go
”I’m afraid that when I die, my wife will sell everything for the amount I told her I paid for it”

many on this site will totally understand this

go buy the V8 and enjoy a rare and really fast car

sounds good to me, The first V8 crossfire I owned was built by Rudy it was #3 made, and was the world's fastest crossfire ..google it
10.65 @ 130 my srt6 had 31000 miles when we put the V8 in it.
the one i have now also built by Rudy, and myself two mods 1. a smaller S C pulley and 3" exhaust useing the srt6 muffler before the mods i ran 11.76@ 120 waiting for the track to open. I am sure with a tune this car should run in the high 10's hope ,hope. and again it is for sale $22000.00 it is also my daily driver, jim
