Super charger pully question.
Re: Super charger pully question.
as far as i know only code 3 offers a s/c pulley upgrade. tvt machines oem pulleys for a combination of bigger crank pulley and s/c pulley but i dont believe they sell them separate.
as for reliability a few issues in the original production but havent heard of a failure to date. i have a c3 to be installed this weekend after dyno tests. there are definate increases in performance.
the debate has raged whether the c3 was equal to a 178 crank pulley, and the consensus seems to be that they are close to equal. as for a larger crank pulley ie: 181 185 192 these will all outperform but are more costly and tunes are highly reccommended

Re: Super charger pully question.
the only reliability issue that has come up tends to be the supercharger bearings go sometimes (but this can happen with any setup, but code 3 has a replacement bearings. typically most have posted that the code 3 gets slightly less boost than the ASP 178, but as 32krazy said far less than the 181 and 185.

Re: Super charger pully question.
i think tvt is the only co. offering this service. its in another thread and they say its not something they want to do on a regular basis due to the current workload they have.
i would recommend if you are going to size down your oem pulley research first HOW much you will want turned down. millimeters make a big diff. here as the s/c is spinning at a huge rpm.if im correct oem is 72mm c3 midsize is 69mm and c3 s/c pulley is 65mm. also a bearing swap should be considered as when i took my oem off at 40k i found sizeable bearing wear on the s/c pulley AND on the idler puller. also the tensioner pulley shows some wear and is being replaced just as a precaution
