time to replace fuel filter?

frankly i dont see the plastic cover. any chance to point an arrow to it?
and now that we are at it, any chance to enlighten us about that mysterious Schrader valve?what does it do?

and just when i thought i knew all that i needed to run this car (notice: all that i needed, not that i know all. far from that).
thanks again. great pic, by the way.
and forgot: whats the test port? to test what?

It is the test port for fuel injection pressure which should be around 52 PSI.
A Schrader valve is what is in the valve stem on any tire where you put the air in, ir allows air in, but not out unless depressed.

terrific. thanks a zillion. tried to send this before but my comp does not show so here it goes. i hope is not duplicating it.
now i know all that takes to do the checking or the replacing of the fuel filter and/or the fuel pump..
at the end of the day, this way is the easiest.
you are the best.
