SOS Diagnostics just created a spare key for me that includes the remote functions. It works great. After worrying for two years that I might break or lose it, I now have peace of mind. It was a fair price also. The only scary part was sending them my one and only key (that is all they require) and worrying about it getting lost in transit. On the other hand if it got lost they can still duplicated it from your screem and ecu. VERY HAPPY. They can also repair most screems. THANK You SOS Diagnostics.

$300.00 plus $10.00 shipping, a bargain. The key looks and feels just like an NOS key without the Chrysler logo. If you have an old key case you can transfer the logo.

 

That’s not bad at all, they should do a good business at that price.

Respectfully, contact them via email for a quote. The email reply I got was exclusive. The valet key was very reasonable. I'm a loyal fan now.

 

I was thinking it might be cheap enough to hide under the fender in the unlikely event you lost your keys away from home.
Just like the old days, the key in the little box with a magnet on it. You used the hidden spare key when you shut your keys in the car, which was kkeasily done in those days. I had to use it one time and had forgot where the spare key was hidden, I finally found it and the box was just about rusted away, in a short time only the magnet and the bottom of the box would have still been there.

That is not a bad price. I recall that the two keys I bought from Chrysler over 10 years ago were about $275/each.

There's also these stickers made by Andrew a fellow XF owner and forum member. I'm pretty sure he has the Chrysler key fob sticker as well. Just throwing this out there as he has helped many members with custom stickers over the years.

 

I found a blank for a Mercedes CLK 500 on ebay; took it to local locksmith who cut the valet key for $20. Total investment under $30. I to took the valet and put it under the Mercedes as a spare just in case I do something stupid or the battery looses power for what ever reason out on the road somewhere.

 

That’s OK, I have posted thousands of replies none of which where state secrets. I have even PM’d people with more sensitive info. But have it your way, you must feel special. 🙄
