Default NA guys, there's a cheap supercharger option!

For you guys with NA Crossfires V6 or V8 looking for boost, a shop down in Florida is doing the stock top swaps (supercharger) from the M113K onto the NA blocks. His name is Vincient and the shop is East Coast EuroWerks.

He's running his personal CLK55 with stock M113 with the M113K supercharger and he's also done at least one other on a SLK55. I'm not sure if he's done the M112 yet, but it should all be the same. Hit him up if you're interested.

Here's a linke to the Youtube videos of the guy with the SLK55 with M113K supercharger bolted on.

The M113 should be able to handle boost a lot better than M112 correct? Only saying that because the SLK55 AMG already has like 350-60hp with forged internals and the M112 is around 215-20hp without forged internals. It should be easier to throw a blower with high boost on the M113 without any mods. I would think the M112 would need some internal modifications to be able handle any significant amount boost to get to at least, say 300HP? This is very interesting though as the question has been asked ad nauseum about adding a supercharger or turbo to the N/A. Maybe this is a viable option for the folks that want to do so. There's only so many SRT6's. So this could definitely bring in an option for better performance numbers for the N/A. Better to spend the money on a single mod instead of breaking the bank on many mods to get the N/A up to maybe 50-60HP.

There's also that $2500 electric turbo thingey to consider.
Wonder how the NA would like 5 pounds of boost ?

You can contact Josh Chase at teh Mercedes Swap Shop, I'm sure he'd tell you not to bother and just get an SRT or let him put a V8 in for you - but if you insist, I know he can do it.
Just a matter of how much money you are willing to spend. I'd imagine the V8 swap would be no more expensive and less likely to fail - the N/A internals are simply not designed for it.

DJ in Arizona did charge his little Red Coupe six speed. I almost bought it, but again, it's a one-off and NO ONE can help you if you have issues with it, other than a Josh Chase. Again, I think the V8 swap would be my go-to mod.

Here is how to contact Josh:

If you are not a dedicated gearhead, with a shop and resources, plan on paying someone to do the work, or just buying the car already sorted out with what you are looking for. If you want a supercharged setup, sell your Crossfire, and find an SRT6. If you want to do a swap, then read up on a V8 swap. No more or less complicated than a supercharger swap, and certainly will be more reliable than putting a supercharger on the stock M112.
