The Official Oyster Gold “C-R-O-S-S-F-I-R-E” photo thread
It’s about time someone starts an official thread for the beautiful and quite rare ”OYSTER GOLD”! Can someone please make this a sticky note?!
here is my 2007 limited coupe. Let’s see your pictures!

This 2007 Crossfire Roadster just sold this past weekend in Pittsburgh area. Car was listed by Bobby Rahal Land Rover in Canonsburg, PA. Hopefully, an existing member or a new member bought this gem. I was a fool for not grabbing it when I first saw it listed. I've only seen one other Oyster Gold Roadster with the Tuxedo interior & that was owned by a Gateway Group member that had the car at the initial CAA event in St Louis way back. The car below was nearly spotless. And it had the dark gray steering wheel instead of the vanilla version.

Chrysler changed the steering wheel from Vanilla to Dark Charcoal in the 2007 model year. The vanilla wheels had shown the dirt and wear related to the hand oils and the jewelry people wear. That change still looks good and functions better than the original Vanilla.
BTW, the Vanilla paint is still available from an original German supplier to Chrysler through EBAY. Dennis

And WD40 in his touchup on his 2005 Roadster with Tuxedo interior confirmed that the color match is spot on!! I let this one get away!! What a dumb-***!!

We have fond memories of the CAA event in 2010. We are still members of the Gateway Crossfire group, and still have the car. I have not seen another one like it since 2010.
After the event, and with the questions various folks ask here, I have been able to piece together that this car is one of (if not the last) oyster gold cars to come off the line.
Here is what it looks like today:
Thanks to dedwards0323 for all the nice comments about the oyster gold car. I know there are some who do not appreciate how good it really looks.
