Default yellowed radio *****

I know there have been other post but sometimes they are buried . I recently painted my valve covers and looking at the color, I thought that's the same as my yellowed radio *****. I cleaned and painted them with Dupli-color De -1650 Cast coat aluminum engine spray paint looks great !

I think that you need a paint that stays flexible, James1549 wrote a post on this matter. He painted them with a normal paint but the paint cracked.

That is my concern also but it's looks better than before . Too soon to know if it will crack. Ill repaint if it does pretty easy.

Would spraying them with a plastic adhesion promoter help? Isn't that almost the same thing as adding the "flex" additive when painting a plastic bumper?

When I re-painted the radio ***** in my 2007 Coupe, that is what I did. I sprayed initially a coat of adhesion promoter since ***** were plastic. Then I applied a coat of silver paint. ***** look great!

What I did was use isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth and gently clean the *****.
