Make sure the cap base metal matches that of the valve stem; otherwise, corrosion will occur between the two. I put chrome caps on mine when I first got it. I had to use pliers to remove a cap and it took a chunk of the valve stem off with it... lesson learned.

 

I'm am not sure if the metal that these are made of will present a problem. I coated the valve stem threads with a dielectric grease before installing the caps. My tpms isn't working so i check my tire pressure often keeping a lookout if there is a problem
