Just for clarity here on the amount.
$700 per month?
$8400 per year?
Is this correct?

they break it up half a year and it automatically renews
But yes this is correct it’s ever so slightly rounded up 30 or 40 dollars but yes.

You are paying $8400 per year on your Crossfire? How many tickets and accidents have you had and what state is this? Time to shop around. No matter what that is a ridiculous amount unless you have a plethora of tickets and/or accidents and are 18 years old. Every state is different, heck every street address and zip code is different and a lot goes into insurance rating factors but to pay $700 for a vehicle from 2005 is absurd. Something is wrong there under normal circumstances.

He listed his residence as Amesbury. I believe that is a town & civil parish located in Wilshire, England. Insurance is a lot different over there! I recognized the name because Stonehenge is located in that parish.

But he did state paying in 'dollars', so maybe he is located in Amesbury, MA. And his User Profile states he lives in the US. I was really hoping for Stonehenge!

Still seems like you're paying way too much, even with your driving record. I'd shop around. I do know down here in SC, if you've had an accident within the past 3 years, most insurance providers won't offer you a new policy. That leaves your existing insurance provider to charge you whatever they want or whatever they can get away with.

Is it an option to have a family member put the car on their policy and add you as a driver only?
