2005 convertible, I replaced the motor on the hydraulic pump, motor runs but does not pump fluid, Did I leave something out between the impeller and the pump?top
I see no connection between the motor impeller and the pump assembly. I'm wondering if there should be and why I'm not getting any pressure.
I can hear the pump run for a few seconds each time I push the up button like it is timing out, this is with the top down.

 

If worse comes to worse, Top Hydraulics rebuilds them.
