Paint color Under Rear Spoiler of NA Crossfire
Discovered today some of the 'grayish' paint under the rear spoiler starting to flake & come off. Anyone know the color name and/or code for this 'grayish' paint?
Just an idea; have paint store mix your regular color, (I think it's XDR for graphite) but have them mix it without the metal flakes. I have wondered about that myself. Could go over the first coat with a satin clear, or just use a PPG Omni single stage paint which would glass over nicely. An auto body & paint supply could mix it AND put it in a rattle can if you do not have a decent spray set up at your house with the two stage paints. The single stage has hardeners added so I don't think that can be put in a rattle can, but I could be wrong. You could check with them.
That would be rather expensive vice finding something close at the auto parts store.
These cars are not just fun. They are an adventure!
God willing, See you in a few days at Eureka,
