Center Console won't unlock
Hey all,
Update: I didn't realize it unlocks/locks when the doors lock. Thanks for all the replies, great support at this community!
My 2005 convertible center console seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to latching and unlatching. It ate my wallet for the better the part of the day! And then while driving I heard a "click" and I could open the lid. Is there something I need to lubricate or check? I'm a little concerned to use it. Thank you!

If you have a lubricant that is safe for plastics, a little spray can't hurt. You might also want to smear a tiny amount on the latch surface where it makes contact. If all else fails you can take it apart. There are a lot of these on e bay.
