I have a question: if someone is offering original TPMS sensors that have never been installed, do they have a shelf life?

Does the internal battery only work after it has been activated? Or will they be like the car alarm?

I would assume all batteries have a limited life.

 

I agree with ZERACER. The batteries are self contained with no on/off switch. The day they leave the factory is when the clock starts ticking.
