Default Build Number Decal on Door

Is there anyone here who has removed the build number decal from their original door and placed it on a door they replaced on their Crossfire? I had to replace my door due to someone hitting it and would like replace with the original sticker. Thanks

Hi Pat,

I have not done what you are asking. That decal has been attached for a long time. My thought would be to cut out the metal all around the decal. Then heat the metal from the underside and try to peel it off while hot. I would also be curious how to do this.

Thanks for the info James. I did it with a razor blade and a hair dryer but still managed to mess it up. The one from the new door came off without any problems but the one I need just kept wanting to tear. Now I need to try to find some who can make me one out of decal material.

Can you get a high resolution scan of it or is it already attached?

If you have a good picture of the original you can try asking Annette to make one. She is a Crossfire owner and has made a lot of decals for me. She does great work.

I would love to see what she made for you. I am looking for someone to make me the SRT-6 decal but with the modern font and yet, same size as the one that's on the trunk. Seems like a difficult task though.

I have SRT-6 modern font, fender badges and lots of them but imo they are too big to put on the trunk. I like the 2006 and onward font much more than the OEM SRT-6 style from 2005, but been looking for someone who can draft something up that looks good on the trunk, modern and same size. Do you have examples of what she did for your car?

That's really cool. I am going to reach out and see what they can do for me. I like all of it and the light up decal is super cool.
