Default K&N Oil Filter

I just received an email from K&N that they now have an oil filter for our cars. See below:

I appreciate that the aftermarket is out there trying to support our cars, but why would I want to install a K&N oil filter on my car when the OEM part works just fine.

what's the micron rating compared to stock filter??

I wish they would make an oil cooler adapter instead of the filter, being this is what the engine really needs.

I would never WANT you to install anything on your car other than OEM parts directly from the dealer!!!

I was only letting members know that there are other options available (for those that so desire).

And if they made the oil cooler adapter...I don't think it would be OEM.

It looks to be a fleece type filter, but I couldn't find a price. Thanks for the post.

How do you figure that? 8.5 quarts is a pretty big pool to draw from. It's about twice the volume of most other V6 engines I have seen.
