CMVSS-215 Bumper Mods.
Bringing from US 2006 roadster (currently drive 2004 coupe) Will need bumper 'pads' inserted inside panels and daytime running light module to conform to RIV & to have licensed & registered in Canada. Anyone know after mods completed who/where does final inspection? if any or just proof of work completed??
Any 'like' experiences out there? Tks.

hey,
canadian tire does the inspections for imported vehicles into canada from the states. you need a daytime running lights module, and new energy absorbers in the bumber, and yes you need to provide proof of the work. I have been through this process, so if you like I could provide you with further info such as the part numbers and where to get a good price on them.

Thank you Brewski,
I have my car and all is well for me. An independent repair shop did the work required and yes, I then went to a Canadian Tire store for the inspection, got the paperwork and off I went to the Licencing office.
The whole experience was eventful, but worth it! I love my second crossfire and this one from the States! Thanks, Brenda
