Default Parts Mfg Changes '04-'05 & '06-'07 (info?)

Does anyone know what specific manufacturing changes were made that are reflected in the master parts list between '04/'05 & '06/07 for the following parts for the M112 (EGX) engine ? FLYWHEEL, CRANKSHAFT for the (DED, DGJ, DGU) transmission... There are very specific bolt pattern differences on the crankshaft between the NAG1 fitted engines and the 6spd manual which prevent mating of the manual transmission to the (EGZ) engine without utilizing another flywheel from a very specific MB model. I am thinking that the crankshaft bolt pattern was changed for some reason during the production run... any ideas ? And yes, the crankshaft from a '05 (EGX) NAG1 has the exact bolt pattern as the '05 (EGZ)... I haven't had the opportunity to view all the different model years, only the '04 (EGX) with the (DED) and the '05 EGZ with the (DGJ) I'm not sure of the (DGU W5A330) Any ideas will help this forum achieve the (EGZ) engine swap with the (DED) transmission without having to track down a MB flywheel / pressure plate from another model...

Bolt pattern looks the same to me.
Looks like there maybe a a couple of extra "holes" maybe for balancing or something to do with the forged bottom end on the SC engine. (additional machining?)

You can definitely tell they are different. The NA engine has equal spacing between all the holes. The AMG one looks like they are spaced to "key" them to the flex-plate.

Just curious.........can you tell if that flange is the same thickness on both?
Do these engines have a dampner on the crank pulley, and if so are they the same?

I'm thinking there might be a problem going from a relatively light flex-plate, to a rather heavy flywheel.

The crank flange from the EGX manual trans is 5mm thicker than the EGZ auto trans and required a spacer. and yes the bolt patterns are different. But the important question is, what were the manufacturing changes between '05 & '06 to both the Flywheel and the Crankshaft ? did they change to a common bolt pattern ? I am assuming the current bolt pattern differences reflect manual transmission vs auto transmission attachment points. This prevents an easy bolt-up of the 6spd to the SRT6 engine without a special flywheel from a different model MB vehicle.
