AVIC-N3 need help on instal
I have been searching this site for 3 weeks trying to find out my questions.
1) With only 2 channels coming from the factory radio to the amp, how should I hook it up?
2) Where is the line for the parking brake? I think I have the line for the speed sensor and backup lights.

do you have a limited or a base model? the wire for the hand brake is just so the system knows you are at a stop so you can watch the dvd player i just put the wire to ground and flipped the switch on the bottom of the unit the switch is a little micro switch under some foil tape. if you do that you can watch movies going down the road.....hope this helps
are you sure that can be done with the n3. i might be thinking the d3 but i could of sworn it had a gyro base nav. which means you cant hook it up to a switch.
i didnt say hook it up to a switch i said just ground the wire to the chassis and flip the micro switch under the n3 you cant see it it is under some foil tape THE SWITCH IS ON THE N3 if you do not want to do that the e brake wire is under the console i had an n3 and did this where i could watch movies going down the road you still have to hook up the speed sense wire and the reverse wire.......
