Even though I am too young to have seen their earlier tours, I did get top see them in the mid/late 1980’s and again in the mid 1990’s. I can claim to having heard their music live at a much younger age. Where my parents live was a hall across the road (used for dancing schools, religious gatherings and rock concerts), and this was on the gig circuit. Saturday nights could be quite bad for me as there were invariably concerts of some form, and being a small cild I needed to sleep. At the time I didn’t know it was Floyd, The Who or Zeppelin (amongst others) keeping me awake. If I knew than what I did now, I may have appreciated it more...
Sadly, that generation of musicians will start dropping off their perches, and with them pass a generation of great musicians.

You are so right Hairy ! The sixties and seventies unlike any generation before or after, produced some of the finest musicians the world has ever seen. Pink Floyd, The Who, The Beatles, Stones, Eric Clapton and Cream ! You Brits made a fine contribution to the world of music !![Cool](https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
