Here's the tool - about $3 at Wal*Mart

Check to see if you have a problem with the antenna connection - note that it is not a USA style connector and has a locking connection that has to be released to disconnect - don't just try to pull it off - you might break it.
You may also have a problem with the antenna connection to the rear window. You'd have to refer to the factory manual to trace that down.

Does the noise happen only from the radio, or also when playing CD's?
Does the noise come from all 4 speakers (turn the balance control to the right or left, and the fader control to front or the back) or just some of them?

Hi,
the problem occures when I am driving and also parked. It doesn't happen when I am listening to a cd, so i suppose it has to be something with the antenna. I do have a cabriolet, so I will check the connections in the trunk first and also behind the radio. Will see what it's exactly.
Concerning the mobile phone, even if I switch it off totaly, the flicker noise is still remaining. Still wondering what that can be. For the first 6 months that I had the car, there was no problem. Now it happens everyday.
Thx all for the infos'
