I decided to upgrade my Head Unit to a high end Alpine, so I'm making available FOR SALE my Blauplunkt London MP48 unit.


For those who are unaware, the London MP48 is a true "Plug and Play" for your existing OEM radio from Chrysler/MB.


If your running with your existing OEM radio, the MP48 is a no-brainer for it's simplicity of install, and the sound quality improvement (head and heels over the OEM Unit).


There are NO wires to cut or splice, just pop out the OEM unit, unplug the Power, speaker, and antenna jacks, slip MP48 sleeve into open slot, pop all plugs into the MP48, power on the new unit to test, then slip the MP48 in, and your done...!!


I had limited experience with Radio installs, and I was able to install the unit in about 20 minutes...


Some caveats ~ you will need the radio keys to remove the OEM, and I don't recall but I think may you need an antenna adapter. You can check the Crutchfield website below to get keys, and confirm antenna adapter.

The M48 is used (obviously), I'm selling it for $85 bucks, plus shipping. I'm guessing shipping should run no more then $15 for the lower 48.

I stand by this unit as fully operational when I uninstalled, but if by chance you run into any issues, return it in the same condition within 14 days, and I'll refund.

Hi Pat, I have the same unit in my Crossfire. It does not need an antenna adapter. It was easy to put in. All you need is the DIN removal keys. Good luck selling it. It's a great unit!

Thanx for the antenna update, I had forgot whether it was needed or not, having installed it a while back.


I'm also in agreement that it is a great upgrade to the OEM radio, in both a hassle free install, and better than decent sound quality.


I was pleasantly surprised by it's performance for the price...

 

Does it have Bluetooth ? (apparently an option). If so I'd be interested.
