Will Sirius radio receiver work with our radio?
Hello folks!
Girlfriend bought me a Sirius FM satellite receiver for the car. I was going to have a shop mount it and make it look professional. Is there anything else I need to make it work? I thought I heard people had to upgrade our infinity radio to an aftermarket radio in order to be able to use a satellite receiver?
Thanks for the input. Been a fan of Sirius in my cars for a while...just not in the Crossfire so far

See, that's what I'm confused about...I have seen pics before of peoples cockpit with a Sirius receiver stuck to their dashboard but the OEM head unit.
There has to be a trick???

Not sure of the output configuration on the Sirius .. but something along this line should get you there.

Thanks for your help. I am still a little confused. There has to be someone with a stock radio who wanted a sirius receiver in their car?
I actually like the stock radio system and would like to keep it so it would be awesome I could use it with the receiver my girlfriend bought me for Christmas. I had an aftermarket sony stereo in my car before that was Sirius ready but I took it out as I just liked the sound quality better with the stock head unit and also the aesthetics - I wanted to keep the silver looks to it!

Mrmiata's link shows you the FM radio option/version. That is the type you want. The Sirius satellite receiver ready radios allow the radio to control the Sirius receiver. You don't want that one since the stock Crossfire radio cannot control the Sirius receiver.
Might be a little late for "which one do you like".. and that is why I posted the link .. covering all interface options.
