Stereo Removal Help!
Re: Stereo Removal Help!
You need the special removal keys/tools to get it out the easy way. There are two slots, one on either side of the radio, where you insert the keys, then the radio just slides right out.
I'm not sure where you can get them. I've had my set for many years, being I'm an installer. You might be able to go to a stereo shop and have them pull it out, they shouldn't charge you much if anything, its only a 10 second job.

Collin,
The Eracer76 is correct, go to your local shop, tell them to use the VW keys (make sure they push all the way in) and click it's out. Might want to get your own set, it's worth having if you are going to any work behind the unit.
Crazyinblack: Simple answer is NO. Read the posts, many have looked, some have tried, no way to interface anything to the head unit expect the factory multi-cd unit.
