Default Radio Screen Problem

I've been reading all the problems that owners had with the original radios. The fix was to get a new unit with a green background and black letters. I have the navigation system. It has a green back ground with black letters.
My problem is that portions of the letters on the screen disappear. Even at night I may be able to read where I am and maybe not. Sometimes it looks great and sometimes almost solid green. I'm to the dealer tomorrow to see what they say. Anyone with the same problem?

See if there is an adjustment for contrast. That might do it.

Cool Re: Radio Screen Problem

There is no adjustment for contrast, take it to the dealer for replacement under warranty. My original radio was replaced under warranty for the visibility issue, and then again for the defective LCD screen.

LCD screen letters/numbers will look like they are "running down" in a few places. Like if you poured water on paper that had ink on it and it ran down/off the paper. It seems like it happened only when the temp was cool/cold out. It's sounding like a radio replacement to me. Any one else have this problem?
