Has anyone added more speakers to the back side of the seats in the base model roadster? If so what did you have to do in order to get them hooked up and working? Thank you for your help.

 

I have the same car and is interested in doing the same thing. If you find out anything, let me know.

I chatted with the local audio shop. They said to just replace the stock speakers and add an amp. He said the radio I have installed cranks out a couple hundred watts and the speakers on the door go up to I think 100 something. Now I am on the market to get new speakers.

 

Thanks for the info. I would love to see some pictures when you change out you speakers. Did you find out anything about cutouts for speakers behind the seats for the basic roadster??
