Alpine IVA-D310 Audio / Video
I just finished installing the Alpine IVA-D310 Multimedia Station. I looked and listened to all of them and highly recommend this unit. I installed it myself because I wouldn't have it done by anyone else. Problem is this system consists of three basic items. The Head / Video Unit. The DC to DC Converter, and the Tuner / Control Unit. Lots of stuff to fit into a small car. A GREAT system!! I kept the original amplifier, speakers and subs. I also added rear speakers and amplifier.

More photos in my Gallery. Still a work in progress... but quite an improvement over the stock system.

Sorry to go off topic but... what are those 3 black and 1 green buttons for?
And you mounted a radar detector on the back? Why back there?

The switches and pushbutton are for interior lighting and accessories. I use one switch for the backup camera. Normally it would only come on when the car is in reverse. This way I can turn it on any time.
The rear shelf is the best location for the radar detector as long as you have an audible alarm and don't need to see the display. This way it doesn't block my view and detects front and rear radar equally well. It's also hard wired into the ACC power.
