Default Switching from a Standard unit to the OEM GPS unit?

Anyone know how one would go about switching out the regular Infinity head unit for the OEM crossfire GPS? I'm wondering if there are other wires pertinent to the GPS that won't have a place on my deck? Any info appreciated... Thanks.

reverse wire and GAL wire.

GAL is located at the amplifier in the passenger floor.

reverse wire is not really not needed but suggested.

don't forget to run the calibration mode once installed.

I am also looking at getting the sat nav unit.
What is the Gal wire?

why don't you get a Garmin with a color screen, the OEM gps is not impressive.

Not to mention, you'll end up with scratched dvd's and outdated maps. Haven't used my radio's Navi ever since I got my NUVI 350.

One of the main reasons I was looking at getting the sat nav is I have just bought a Becker cd changer that I was told would work with the stock stereo and it turns out it will only work with the sat nav unit.
I have ben offered one quite cheap so thought why not.
I don't think any other stereo looks right in the Crossfire.
