Default Infinity BassLink Powered Sub

I recently picked up an Infinity BassLink 200W powered subwoofer for my base coupe. The base models did not come with the dual subs behind the seat, and I needed some additional thump!

My question is: Where is the best place to run a power wire through the firewall to get a direct battery connection? Has anybody else installed a powered sub in the trunk?

I suspect that I will mount the thing to the floor on the passenger side against the bulk head. Hopefully, I won't drill any holes in the gas tank or anything...

Any help with wire routing appreciated.

Remove the battery and you will see a rubber gasket that you can cut an "X" in and run you wire through the fire wall into the cabin. If you remove the pass. seat, the door still and the kick panel you can pull up the carpet and run your wire along the floor. There is a space in the bulk head near the outside of the car where you can run the wire into the cargo area. Download the repair manual (do a search) it will help you to see how to do all this.
PS: I have that Infinity sub in my pickup and it sounds good.

Thanks marauderroy I appreciate your comments. I can't wait to get that thing fired up! It probably wouldn't make much of an impact in my wife's Grand Caravan, but in a space the size of a Crossfire, it ought to be great. I am putting in a Pioneer DEH-590iB head unit in as well. The trip from PA to NJ every week should get notably better!
