Anyone interested in a sub box for the coupe
I am building a sub enclosure that will sit in the left side of the trunk, will be able to house decent size 10" or possibly a 12" sub. It will take up the space I think is pretty much unusable on the left corner. Quality of this enclosure will be very good. It will be 99% fiberglass and there will be a wooden ring to get a good grip for the mounting screws. I will be happy to share some pictures if anyone is interested.
I know this is my first post and no-one knows me but you are welcome to check out my current enclosures I have for other cars and you will be very impressed. We are well known in the 350z, BMW, Supra, WRX, EVO and Viper RT/10 community for our enclosures.
I am not sure if it is OK to post a link but here it is. http://www.wickedcas.com/gallery/main.php/v/magicboxes/
The box we would built would have the same taste and flavor as the ones you would be viewing.
I will personally Guarantee the Sound Quality of these sub enclosures.

YESSS...this is what i have been looking for...what is the average price range of a 10 inch sub box enclosure and the 12 inch one??...and is it developed yet and if not then WHEN??
I will have pictures of the enclosure tomorrow. It is not finished yet, But you will all have a pretty good idea.
Left and right is an option as long as I have at least 5 people who wants the right side. Otherwise it will be the left side only for now.
Pricing will depend on how hard the mold will be to make and pull one out of the mold.
Average pricing for our enclosures are between $269.95 - $429.95. So it will be in between those 2 prices.
There will be an option to buy it with or without a sub.

yea, was thinking about it over the weekend. i would like to order if i can get a fair prices and see a few good pics to see what i'm getting.
Sorry I have the box, However we have not pulled a mold yet. It is in a smooth stage where a mold can be pulled. It will be a couple weeks at least before it is done.
Here are some pictures however.
More pictures can be seen here. http://www.wickedcas.com/gallery/mai...xes/crossfire/

Thanks for the pic and the update...got a question though...what will be the interior cubic space (air space) for the 10 inch box and the 12 inch one???
Yea it looks very small. More like a mount than a box. Can you take a side view? Looks like a sub would almost go all the way to the back and be against the wall of the trunk area.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I have an Alpine Type X for sale. I had two of them installed into my crossfire, but it was just too damn loud. One seems like a better plan, lol. Anyways, they are 1,000 watts RMS, 3,000 peak, so they are pretty serious stuff. PM me if anyone's interested.

i used to be into fiberglassing my sub boxes a few years ago. i just got my car and i already had plans of building boxes similar to this one. i was going to start with one on the passenger side and duplicate another if i need more boom for the drivers side.
hey guys. sorry nazar hasn't gotten back to you sooner. i am his business partner and one of the guys who builds these boxes. we are a designer and retail shop so we are the first and last guy but a lot of this depends on the middle man (fiberglass shop). the enclosure is already at the mold shop and we should see it in about 2 weeks. the airspace will be the same for both the 10 and the twelve. we design most of our enclosures around the jl 10 w7 because its what we deal with the most. feel free to shoot me any questions and i will respond as quickly as possible. again...sorry for the delay.
i went to see the box at there store (I live down the road) its nice. they're using an actual vac forming process to mass produce these. the only thing i would say is to ditch the carpeting that comes on them and have the boxes painted to match. other then that they seem to be a nice tight fit and build quality.
