Default CarMD - Your Greedy Mechanic's Worst Nightmare

Check this OBD/USB tool that plugs into your OBD port. Get your diagnostics then plug it into your computer hooked up to the internet and you get a full diagnostic report on your car. If you have nothing better to do look at all the USB gadgets reviewed on this site...

it looks like it would be a useful tool to have. I wonder if they would know more about crossfires than the usual Chrysler techs. More than likely I bet.

Hiya, did you actually buy this? Did they have the info on Crossfires? I was on their website looking to see for sure if they supported our car but couldn't find it. Anyone else have any suggestions for a good usb/serial connected OBD2 reader?

I have an Innova 3130 and I like it a lot. It has helped me several times and I used it to clear a DTC on my daughters car when it wouldnt start. Started right up and let her get to the shop.

You can buy a code reader for $30 at walmart.

I bought a pc based elmscan 5 usb for my car.

There are much nicer scanners out there than that carmd.

Thanks InfernoRed - Wish they could have said specifically if they have crossfire codes etc. Oh well. At least they responded in a timely manner!
