So I'm changing out the stock speakers for Alpine R-series components with an Alpine amp to power them. My only concern is the amp placement in the forward compartment. Where the heck can I put it? The amp is pretty small and I have seen some people put them behind the passenger seat but I dont want someone moving back and crushing it.

Right now I have my Sirius satellite converter under the passenger seat but where else? I'm not sure if you can put these under seats due to the heat AM amps generate. I was thinking about removing that pouch thing between the seats and mounting the amp there, pretty much exposing it, good/bad?
