Question A Good Nav System Radio?

Hello all, this is my first post on the forums, and I will hopefully be owning a Crossfire soon if everything works out. However, I am bad with directions, and one of the first things I want to do is get a Nav System radio. I really want one with a screen that slides out of the radio head and has a color screen. I searched on the forum and found the KVT-115, however, I can not find it still availble anywhere. So does anyone else know of one that is still around that would be fine in a Crossfire? Thanks!

I looked and looked and I could not fine one that was silver that matched the interior.. You could get a portable Garmin or something of the such for pretty cheap, and they're amazing imo. Otherwise you will most likely have to settle for black..

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 350 about two years ago. I love the unit and works great while I'm in my XF and my other vehicles. IMHO, buying an individual GPS unit is cheaper than buying a built-in one to a radio as you can take it with you where ever you go. I also travel for business and it is small enough to fit in my laptop bag and use in car rentals.

I did the same thing.. two years ago the Nuvi 350.. they make them even better and smaller now.. but the nuvi 350 is everything I could ever want or need.. it truly is small..

I have the JVC KD-NX5000. No flip out screen to cover the air conditioning, but it does play DVDs. I absolutly love it. I have owned some of the highest end audio equipment around, and was impressed by JVC's build quality and DVD playback. The Operating System is Windows, and NAVTEQ powers the Navi. (I think that's the same one as google)
